Affiliate Summit is one of the best events in the world for affiliate marketers and digital marketers alike. It's not just a place to learn about what's working now in the industry, but also the top place to connect with affiliate marketing professionals, advertisers, digital marketing specialists, and other key industry players.
With three days of networking, thought leadership and fun, it was wonderful connecting with existing clients and new partners, to discuss how we can help Sell More Online.
Our local Las Vegas team MaxWeb, was joined by HelpGrid team members from Ohio and Florida. Like always, we all arrived a day earlier, so that we can start the event well-rested and ready for non-stop long 16 hour days.
First day of Affiliate Summit went by so fast. We squeezed a lot of prescheduled meetings, trying to connect with everyone while they're still fresh and energized. It was a very productive day!
A special part of this year's conference was the celebration of founders Missy Ward and Shawn Collins. After 20 years and 50 shows, the performance marketing industry showed its appreciation of these two legends.
The second day was dedicated to meeting with our existing partners, as well as new ones we're just starting to work with.
Tony Grebmeier, founder of ShipOffers and his team, shared wonderful news about expanding to the East coast. We have been working with ShopOffers for 5 years - great guys.
Steven Patton (formerly with AdvertiseHealth and 7ROI) talked about how he's transitioning from CPA into providing Email marketing services on a CPM - stay tuned for a big announcement here.
We sat down with Brian Bogosian, CEO of LimeLight, discussing their upcoming rebranding. At HelpGrid, we help many LimeLight merchants save 21% of their abandoned orders, putting that money back into their bottom line.
Met with Mike Fagan, head of business development at Midigator and finished the night with a great VIP party hosted by our friends from Clickbank. Our in-house media team at MaxWeb have been driving quality traffic to Clickbank offers, for more than 2 years.
On day 3, we made it a point to visit every single booth at the conference and make meaningful connections, before everyone flights out. The third day is always the slowest one.
All in all, we had one-on-one 26 meetings, collected 174 business cards, attended 4 parties and brought back tons of giveaways for the kids.
Next week, we'll start following up with everyone, setting up demos and discussing next steps. The magic is all in the follow-ups!
Thank you Las Vegas! You have been good to us.
